Quality first. Price second.
ProtoCol started with one rule. Not a marketing slogan, but a decision that settles everything else: which raw material goes into the jar, where it is made, and what the label says.
One sentence reaches us again and again, almost word for word, in our customers' letters:
„I am paying for hope, not for results.“
ProtoCol started in front of exactly that kind of cabinet.
The cabinet was full of glossy jars and big promises. Not one of them had done anything. Marketing tricks. Microdoses. Proprietary blends where you cannot tell how much you are actually getting. We decided to do the opposite: a jar where every ingredient has a name, an amount and an origin.
We work to one principle: if you cannot trace it, you do not control it. So every ingredient carries the name of a specific raw material, not just „collagen“. Hydrolysed bovine collagen Type II Fortigel® in the brown jar. PeptiPlus® and Verisol® in the blue one. Doses are in grams, not milligrams, and the label states exactly what goes into the jar.
How do we control quality?
Every batch is produced to a specification and documented. Every product carries its own registration number that you can check. Production runs to HACCP and to the standard for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practice. Compromises? None.
We had the dark evenings too. When a supplier offers „the same thing, only cheaper“. When the numbers do not add up. That is exactly when we wrote down the rule we have not moved since:
„Quality first. Price second.“
And we have not moved a millimetre since.
We chose German collagen from GELITA, a producer with more than a century and a half of experience in gelatine and collagen peptides. Not for the name, but because their raw materials are the industry standard. Fortigel® and Verisol® are their brands and they are printed on our label. There is always a cheaper raw material. We did not choose it.
We manufacture in the European Union. Our partner is Cvetita Herbal EOOD, a European producer of natural food supplements with over 10 years of experience. Production runs to HACCP and to the standard for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practice. Manufacturer registration number: 02080035.
Only what the label says goes into the jar. ProtoCol Collagen & Protein: whey protein, hydrolysed bovine collagen Type II (Fortigel®), cocoa, vitamin C and stevia. 11 g of total protein per dose, of which 5 g is collagen. Vitamin C 40 mg, 50% of the reference intake. No GMO. Not treated with ionising radiation. Contains milk.
Then the letters started arriving. Women who had held the jar for days wondering whether to believe one more time. One of them wrote: „I could barely walk a few metres. Today I walked a kilometre and cried with joy.“ Since then we have shipped over 7,400 orders. One in five customers orders again, on average about two months later. Not because of the promises. Because of the feeling that someone finally put them first.
A few of them:
If you are reading this with that familiar mix of hope and scepticism, that is fair. So we invite you to check us. Read the label. Check the registration number. Ask us anything. Give one jar a chance. And if you feel no difference, write to us and we refund you within 30 days.
